HAPPY NEW YEAR-2025 – A YEAR OF GROWTH AND CHANGE

Our school joyfully celebrated the New Year on 23.12.2025 with great happiness and enthusiasm. The celebration created a warm and cheerful atmosphere for our students, staff, and teachers.

As we welcome the New Year, we reflect with gratitude on 2025, a year of transformation, growth, and renewed hope for our institution. We are proud to share a few key milestones achieved during the year:

1. We successfully overcame a period of financial challenges and were able to conduct our annual celebration, reflecting resilience, unity, and confidence in the future.

2. On the occasion of World Disability Day, our students participated in state-level cultural competitions and proudly secured Second Place.

3. Through the Goal Empowerment for Special Children initiative, and after nearly 21 years of dedicated effort, our students achieved a historic milestone by gaining employment at NOVOTEL Hotel, boosting their confidence and independence.

4. Our School Principal was invited as Guest of Honour at the Rotary Club’s installation ceremony, and our organization received national recognition with an All India NGO Award, along with a cash prize of Rs.50,000.

5. Our Second Line Leader and School Incharger, Mrs. Asiya Benazir, gave an interview with renowned debate speaker Kavitha Jawahar on the Kalyana Maalai program and also delivered a special talk on Inclusion at RJ Mantra School, thereby increasing social awareness.

6. We proudly secured First Prize in the Final Assessment of the Dhwani Foundation Capacity Building Program, recognizing our institution’s commitment to quality improvement and effective organizational development.

7. To develop future leadership, we have joined the “Key to Tomorrow” program by Ketto Foundation and are undergoing capacity-building programs to strengthen our mission.

8. During the Joy of Giving Week, celebrated from October 2 to October 8, we received a total contribution of Rs.1,56,427 from 72 donors. This initiative significantly helped us strengthen local funding support and effectively utilize local resources, reinforcing community participation and sustainability.

9. Like a regular school, we also enhance the leadership skills of our students with the support of the Rotary Club by inaugurating the Interact Club of Ritham Leaders.

10. We are proud to partner with Dasara Rebuild India with the aim of creating meaningful and positive change in the lives of our beneficiaries.

We express our heartfelt thanks to all our donors who supported us throughout 2025. Your generosity has transformed lives.

SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION

On 15.12.2025, our school proudly celebrated its Annual Sports Day on the school campus with great enthusiasm and spirit.

The event was graced by our Chief Guests — Mrs. Chitra, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Rajapalayam – Sanjeevi Hills, Mrs. Rajakumari, Member of the Inner Wheel Club, and Mrs. Vishnupriya, Proprietor of  ATM Supermarket,. Their presence added dignity and inspiration to the celebration.

The dignitaries formally lit the Olympic Torch, delivered motivating speeches, and inaugurated the sports events, including Cricket, Throwball, and Running competitions. They also distributed medals to the winning students, encouraging sportsmanship, confidence, and teamwork among the children.

The celebration was further enriched by the presence of our School Principal, teachers, non-teaching staff, and parents, whose support made the event memorable and meaningful.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our distinguished guests and donors for their generous time, encouragement, and continued support in nurturing the physical development and self-confidence of our students.

ENCOURAGING VISIT BY INNER WHEEL CLUB OF RAJAPALAYAM

On 08.10.2025,as part of Joy of Giving Week, the President of the Inner Wheel Club of Rajapalayam, Mrs. Chitra, along with member Mrs. Rajakumari, visited our school and motivated our students through their thoughtful support.

As part of their visit, they generously provided spades, bundles of compost, earthworm manure, and seeds, encouraging our students to actively participate in gardening and eco-friendly practices. Their meaningful contribution inspired the children to develop interest in nature, self-learning, and environmental responsibility.

We sincerely thank the Inner Wheel Club of Rajapalayam for their kindness, encouragement, and commitment to nurturing young minds through sustainable initiatives.

LOW-COST APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGY FOR CHILDREN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY

From 05.12.2025 to 12.12.2025, our School Principal and Incharger attended APT (Appropriate Paper Based Technology) Training at Sathya Special School, Pondicherry.

This specialized training focused on innovative, low-cost paper-based sitting chair, standing frame and corner chair designed to support children with Cerebral Palsy, The knowledge and skills gained through this program will directly enhance inclusive classroom practices and improve the quality of educational support provided to our students.

The training was conducted by Physiotherapist Dr. Heather Angilley from London MAITS – Multi Agency International Training and Support, who provided expert guidance and shared international best practices in inclusive education and assistive learning strategies.

Such capacity-building initiatives strengthen our commitment to delivering effective, child-centered education and creating meaningful learning opportunities for every student.

A MEANINGFUL VISIT OF SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT

On 07.10.2025, the President of the Rotary Club of Rajapalayam, Mr. Vijayakumar, along with respected members Mr. Ponnambalam, Mr. Palani, and Mr. Gurunathan, visited our school and extended their generous support to our students and staff.

With the intention of motivating students and encouraging holistic development, they provided football and throw ball equipment to promote sports and teamwork. In addition, notebooks were distributed to support students in their academic journey. As a thoughtful gesture of appreciation, sarees were presented to our school driver and support staff, acknowledging their dedicated service.

This kind initiative brought encouragement, confidence, and happiness to our entire school community.

EMPOWERING ABILITIES THROUGH INCLUSIVE ONLINE COMPETITIONS

On 25.11.2025, in observance of World Disability Day, the Department for the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities organized online competitions to celebrate the talents and potential of children with disabilities.

The competitions included Poetry, Yoga, Dance, and Mono Act, offering students a meaningful platform to express creativity, confidence, and self-belief.

We are proud to share that our school students participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their talents and confidence. Such initiatives inspire our children to dream bigger, and we sincerely thank all supporters and well-wishers whose encouragement makes these opportunities possible.

A DAY OF CARE AND WELLNESS – MEDICAL CAMP BY SMILE FOUNDATION

On 22.09.2025, a free medical camp was successfully conducted at our school with the support of Smile Foundation.

The camp benefited 32 students, 16 teachers, and 19 parents, who actively participated and underwent essential health check-ups. In addition, necessary medicines and tablets were provided to 20 students.

This humanitarian initiative brought care, hope, and a sense of reassurance to many families.

A SPECIAL VISIT BY BRAHMA KUMARIS – A DAY OF AWARENESS & INSPIRATION 

On 16.09.2025, members of the Brahma Kumaris organization visited our school and conducted an impactful awareness program on “Equality, Safety, and Empowerment for Persons with Disabilities in Tamil Nadu.”

As part of the event, they organized various competitions for our students, encouraging creativity, confidence, and participation.

The team also interacted with our children about meditation, guiding them on mindfulness, inner peace, and emotional well-being.

Programs like these help our children build self-confidence, develop life skills, and understand the importance of equality and empowerment in society.
