 SUCCESS STORY OF R. HARIVENKAT, OUR VOCATIONAL STUDENT

R. Harivenkat, a student with intellectual disabilities who is studying in our school’s vocational training class, completed his education up to the 8th grade in a government school. He then joined our school and prepared for the 10th-grade public examination. He appeared for the 10th-grade exam in 2023 and successfully passed. He has also participated in sports competitions and cultural events and has received certificates. After completing the 10th grade in our school, he was given vocational training and employment training. As part of this, he was trained in depositing money in banks and in various office-related tasks. We are happy to inform that he is currently working in a private company in Tiruppur. OUR SCHOOL STUDENTS ACHIEVED IN THE STATE-LEVEL CULTURAL COMPETITIONS

To mark World Disability Day, the state-level cultural competitions were held on 20.11.2025 at Opportunity School in Chennai. Students from a total of 23 schools participated in the event.

In this competition, our school students performed excellently and secured the second place, creating a remarkable achievement.

Participation certificates were awarded to all the students, and appreciation certificates were given to the teachers.

The winning students were congratulated by our School Managing Trustee Mr. P. S. Kathiresan, Secretary Mr. G. Palraj, Members Mr. R. Kodiappan, Mr. A. Elangumaran, Mrs. G. Jansirani, and the teachers.

Our School Headmaster, Mr. K. Venkataramanan, delivered the vote of thanks.

OUR STUDENTS’ PARTICIPATION IN THE STATE-LEVEL COMPETITIONS

On the occasion of World Disability Day, the state-level sports competitions were held on 19.11.2025 at Nehru Stadium in Chennai. One boy and one girl from our school participated in the event. Certificates were given to all the students who took part in the competitions. INNER WHEEL CLUB HOSTS MEETING AND DONATES TO OUR SCHOOL

On 05.11.2025, a meeting was organized by the Inner Wheel Club of Rajapalayam at the first-floor hall of Sri Kumaran Sweets in Rajapalayam. Our school’s coordinators, teachers, and girl students participated in this event. During the meeting, the club members presented saplings to our school, sarees to our senior teachers, and sports uniforms to 18 of our students. #InnerWheelClub #RithamSpecialSchool

CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION AT OUR SCHOOL

On 14.11.2025, Children's Day was celebrated at our school. Speech competitions, sports events, and coloring competitions were conducted for the students. Gifts were distributed to all the participating students. Our school donors, Mr. Nagarjun and Mr. Esakkimuthu Nambirajan, generously provided free midday meals for our school students. #ChildrensDay  #RithamSpecialSchool

OUR TEACHERS PARTICIPATION IN “NAMMA PASANGA ANGADI – 2025” EVENT

On 13.09.2025 and 14.09.2025, our school teachers participated in the “Namma Pasanga Angadi 2025” event held at Vidyasagar Special School, Chennai. In this event, products prepared by our vocational training students such as soap oil, phenyl, dish washer, incense sticks, and sambrani were displayed and sold.

PARTICIPATION IN DASRA REBUILD INDIA COHORT-9 TRAINING

On 18.09.2025, our organization was selected for the continuous training program (Cohort-9) conducted by the Dasra Rebuild India organization. The inaugural training sessions for the 26 selected organizations were held at the Hyatt Centric Hotel in New Delhi. Our School Principal participated in this training on behalf of our organization. Through this Dasra Rebuild India initiative, continuous training will be provided to our organization for the next five years, with the aim of bringing significant positive changes in the lives of our beneficiaries. #RebuildIndia #RithamSpecialSchool #CapacityBuildingProgramme #TrainingForChange
