INNER WHEEL CLUB MEMBERS CELEBRATE TEACHERS’ DAY AT OUR SCHOOL

On 08.09.2025, the members of the Inner Wheel Club visited our school and celebrated Teachers’ Day. As part of the celebration, colouring and fancy dress competitions were conducted for the students. Prizes were distributed to the participants. Fun games were also organized for the teachers. OUR INSTITUTION RECEIVES PRIZE FROM DHWANI FOUNDATION

Our institution participated in the Capacity Building Programme conducted by Dhwani Foundation last year. A total of 28 institutions took part in the training, among which our institution was selected as the best-performing organization. The prize for this achievement was presented to our Principal and Teacher during the event held on 04.09.2025 at the Madras Management Association Hall, Thousand Lights, Chennai. Furthermore, on behalf of Dhwani Foundation, two drinking water purification units were donated to our school.

OUR TEACHER’S INTERVIEW ON SUN TV’S KALYANA MAALAI PROGRAMME

Our school’s Head Teacher, Mrs. Asiya Benazir, participated in the Kalyana Maalai programme telecast on Sun TV and spoke about the methods of student selection, teaching approaches, and vocational training. SUCCESS STORY OF E. MUNIYASAMY, OUR VOCATIONAL STUDENT

E. Muniyasamy, a student with an intellectual disability attending our school’s vocational training class, studied up to the 8th grade in a government school and used to do small jobs in his village. Later, he joined our school and received training to appear for the 10th-grade examinations.

In 2023, he successfully passed the 10th-grade examination. Being interested in sports, he won the 800-meter race at the state-level competition held in 2022 on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Following this, in 2024, he secured third place in the running event at the Chief Minister’s Cup sports competition, for which he was awarded a medal and certificate by Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin, Tamil Nadu Minister for Sports Welfare.

 Currently, he is undergoing vocational training at our school and is learning the necessary skills for work at a supermarket in Rajapalayam.








 

DIWALI CELEBRATION WITH ANGEL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

On 17.10.2025, professors and students from Angel College of Education visited our school to celebrate Diwali with our students. They joined our students in bursting crackers and celebrated the festival joyfully in our school premises. Moreover, they distributed gifts to our students.

EDUCATIONAL FIELD VISIT TO RELIANCE SMART BAZAAR

On 21.08.2025, eleven of our school students, along with a teacher and a support staff member, visited Reliance Smart Bazaar in Rajapalayam. There, the students learned activities such as arranging items in order, sorting based on quality, purchasing products, stacking goods, and understanding product prices.

A MEANINGFUL VISIT AND THOUGHTFUL DONATION

On 13.10.2025, Mr. Ram Venkatesh visited our school and learned about our students’ activities, the education provided to them, and the achievements of our school. He was accompanied by Mr. Seeniraj and Mr. Umesh, who also visited our school. During the visit, Mr. Ram Venkatesh donated Rs.1,00,000 as a corpus fund in memory of his father and Rs.30,000 towards the Diwali celebration. They assured that they would inform their friends about our school and extend their support.

DIWALI CELEBRATION AT RITHAM SPECIAL SCHOOL

Diwali was grandly celebrated on 16.10.2025 at Ritham Special School for children with intellectual disabilities. Rajapalayam Municipality Chairman Mrs. Pavithra Shyam participated as the chief guest and joyfully celebrated Diwali with the students by bursting crackers along with them.

For the Diwali celebration, Rajapalayam MLA Mr. S. Thangapandiyan distributed new clothes and sweets to all the teachers working in the school.

Mr. Ram Venkatesh presented school bags and lunch bags to the students and also provided Diwali gift amounts to the teachers.

The couple Mr. Ramasamy and Mrs. Jaya Shyla contributed Diwali bonuses to all the teachers.

 A special lunch for the students was sponsored by the R.R. Foundation, and gifts for all students and staff were distributed by the Sri Kotravai Foundation.

 All the students celebrated Diwali with great joy and enthusiasm.

Our donor, Mr. Pandiyaraj, along with his friend, has written and published an article about our school in the Chithirai Sirappithazh magazine released in Dubai. Likewise, an article about the dedicated service of our teacher, Mrs. Asiya Benazir, was published in the Thozhi magazine on 31.08.2025. WON PRIZE IN THE TAMIL NADU CHIEF MINISTER'S TROPHY IN STATE LEVEL SPORTS COMPETITIONS

 

The Chief Minister’s Trophy State-level Sports Competition for the differently-abled category was held at the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, Melakottaiyur, Chennai, on 04.10.2025.

Students with cerebral palsy who had won in various district-level sports competitions participated in this event.

 

From our district, two students from our school took part in the competition. Among them, J. Amala created a remarkable achievement by securing the third place in the Shot Put event.

 

The winning student of our school received a cash award of Rs. 50,000/-, presented by Mr. Meganatha Reddy, I.A.S., Managing Director, Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu.

 

The student was congratulated by our school’s Managing Trustee Mr. P. S. Kathiresan, Secretary Mr. G. Palraj, and members Mr. R. Kodiyappan, Mr. A. Ilangumaran, Mrs. G. Jansirani, along with the teachers.

Our Principal, Mr. K. Venkataramanan, delivered the vote of thanks, and our teacher, Mr. V. Arun Venkatesh, welcomed the student.
